Hot Springs National Park is located in Hot Springs Arkansas. The Hot Springs is a wonderful sight to see and has much interesting history. People come to the Hot Springs mostly to learn about its history, but nobody ever comes to the national park, and misses the wonderful sight of the soothing, steaming water.
Little Rock Central High School has a history of being the first school in Arkansas to let African-American students enroll at the school. On September 4, 1957, a big supreme court ruling decision was made, and let nine African American children enroll at Little Rock Central High School. They were known as the “Little Rock Nine”.
The Arkansas Alligator Farm and petting zoo was established in 1902, and is known all over the state of Arkansas. The alligator farm part of the zoo is where people can watch alligator wrestlers wrestle alligators, and the less intense part of the zoo, which is the petting zoo, has many friendly animals like goats and horses that kids, and even adults, like to pet.
The Historic Arkansas Museum holds the history of all Arkansas’s past. It is a museum full of everything from a countless number of years ago, up to today. The museum is frequently updating their history information to make it more precise and accurate.
Mount Magazine National Park is not only Arkansas’s highest point, but a beautiful national park for everyone. Mount Magazine is a very popular place to hike, and take it a level higher and go rock climbing. Mount Magazine National Park is visited very frequently all year around, but in the summer, Mount Magazine is one of the most visited places to hike.
